Hunting trips in Colorado

Explore the Colorado backcountry like never before. Enjoy a 1 and 3 day pack trip through the Lost Creek Wilderness Area and the San Isabel and Pike National forests by horseback. You’ll see the pinnacle of the Rockies as the early explorers did, and cook over a campfire in the old west tradition.

Each trip includes horses, meals, camping equipment, and a guide.

Vacaton Packages: Hunting Trip(s)

At M Lazy C, we offer a variety of 7-day hunting trips. Each fall we provide drop camps and full service camps for hunts of elk, deer, bear, and bighorn sheep. You decide the level of service; we’ll take you to some of the prime hunting areas in Pike National Forest.

Itchin’ to catch a bite? Join us for a guided fishing trip in some of Colorado’s premier gold metal waters: the Tarryall and South Platte Rivers or Spinney and 11 Mile reservoirs. Imagine catching some delicious fish in the crystal clear waters nestled between the pines and granite. Better yet, imagine the taste of that pan fried fish hot from a cast iron skillet!

Our customizable couples retreats are one-of-a-kind, and since we’re located only an hour and ten minutes west of Colorado Springs, spending time at the ranch is convenient for any occasion. Choose from several of our cozy cabins, enjoy a steak dinner, and go on a horseback ride. Sit around the campfire under the Colorado stars, and enjoy a bottle sparkling cider.. Relax in the hot tub or hike in the National Forest. With so much to do, you may never want to leave!

Take your family on a western adventure. At the M Lazy C you can go horseback riding, do a little target practice, or experience a hay ride. Enjoy real western cookin’ and stay in the bunkhouse or cabin or bring your own accommodations and stay in the camping area. We have spaces with or without hook-ups. You will be able to explore and see what a real Colorado ranch is like. This will be one family vacation the kids will never forget!
