ROCKY TOP OUTFITTERS - Colorado's Personal Ranch!

Started in 1985 by Colorado Buck, Rocky Top Outfitters is coming up on 30 great years of offering hunters quality hunting opportunities. Rocky Top is a family operation, run by Colorado and his oldest son, Jimmy Buck, and is settled in the Great State of Texas. Having nearly 150, 000 acres of prime ranch land - both working cattle ranches and a high fence ranch that Colorado lives on and manages extensively!

We are very proud of our operation and the great hunting opportunities here with Rocky Top Outfitters and would like to invite anyone and everyone looking for a good old fashioned western styled hunt to join us here in Texas, meet our family, and become apart of our operation of family, friends, and fun.

Rocky Top Outfitters has 2 working cattle ranches that are over 50, 000 each and low fence. We hunt traditional Texas style hunts, utilizing hunting blinds and feeders. We also feed at these ranches year around - this is expensive to do but the overall nutrition and substance benefit for the wildlife help creating true trophy class animals.

Rocky Top Outfitters also offers hunts on Colorado's 6, 000 acre Family Ranch. These hunts are ran in the same manner as those on the working cattle ranches but the trophy quality is superb! Having taken many deer over 190" and some even exceeding the 200" mark! We hunt for world class deer on this ranch but hunters are also welcome to shoot hogs and varmints on this hunt as well.

All hunts are 4 full hunting days in length and include: 1 trophy class buck, 1 management class buck (meaning any chocolate horned 8 point - some of these are HUGE breaking 150" B&C), guides (3:1), meals, lodging, meat and trophy care. Hunter's may also take 1 hog, plus any varmints (coyotes, bobcats, foxes) at no extra charge.

Hunts do NOT include: License (available O/C at any sporting goods store for around $300 or can be purchased online from Texas Parks and Wildlife at personal gear (no sleeping bags are needed all hunts are fully outfitted with lodging), or taxidermy (we can recommend our own taxidermist that we use ourselves and have been very happy and successful with for a long time).

If a hunter does not want to deal with the hassle of firearm and ammo transportation, we do have our own line of rifles and ammo that we are willing to rent to clients for their hunt with us.

Working cattle ranch hunts are 50

Colorado's Family Ranch hunts are 00, which is one of the best prices for the quality of deer we know of anywhere.

Pricing for additional non-hunter is 0 per day.
