It's no secret that the Gunnison Basin grows some of the biggest bucks in the west! Since we spend countless days in the field in the summer and fall, we are always locating big, mature mule deer. Our guides know where the big boys live and scout throughout the summer to find them. Your guide, along with AEI Guide and Outfitter staff, will field dress and pack out your mule deer trophy for you.

We are located in a haven for giant trophy mule deer. Colorado Game Management Unit 55 is one of the most sought after mule deer units in the country. The Division of Parks and Wildlife manage our area as a trophy unit. The Gunnison basin is managed to produce older age class, mature bucks. You have a legitimate chance at finding deer in the 180+ inch Boone and Crockett range. All guided Colorado mule deer hunts are 1x1 guided and 5-days. Our mule deer hunting package includes a 8-day food and lodging accomodations.

Resident Archery - 2 points

Resident Muzzleloader - 4 points

Non-Resident Archery - 3 points

Non-Resident Muzzleloader - 8 points
